Forced heat and smoke exhaust system

Forced heat and smoke exhaust system is a reserved fire safety equipment that creates a layer without smoke over the floor in the event of fire, thus it improves conditions for safe evacuation of persons and facilitates any fire fighting intervention. The system also cleares hot gases created during fire.

FIRE VENTILATION FANS
Forced heat and smoke exhaust system is designed as an automatic fire ventilation used in cases when it is not possible to use natural ventilation (e.g. multi-storey objects, underground garages, architectonic position, investor´s requirement etc.). The system consists of a fire ventilation fan, piping for the heat and smoke exhaust and control unit
(distribution board).
Fire ventilation fans are used for the forced heat and smoke exhaust. The fans meet the requirements on temperature resistance 200 °C, 300 °C, 400°C, 600 °C and more for the time period of max. 120 minutes.
Forced heat and smoke exhaust system activation:
• Manual – manual activation of the forced heat and smoke exhaust system – activation of fi re ventilation fans (smoke section) is done by pressing a push-button on the control panel for the particular smoke section
• Automatic – electric signalization – activation of the forced heat and smoke exhaust system by the impulse from EPS – activation of fire ventilation fans in the particular smoke section is done automatically by the signal
from the electric fire signalization.
